- 4 burger buns

- 4 large russet potatoes or frozen fries
- 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Cooking oil (for frying or baking)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (or heat some oil in a fryer).
- Wash and cut your potatoes into fry-sized pieces, toss them in oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway until crispy.
- Form ground beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese in the last minute.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over fries and return to the oven for 5 minutes to melt.
- Top cooked fries with bacon bits, sour cream, and green onions.
- Toast burger buns if desired, then layer with lettuce, the cheesy patty, and your favorite toppings.
