Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers The key to that delightful crust!
  • 1/2 cup sugar Or your favorite sweetener

For the filling

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Dark makes it extra delicious
  • 1 cup heavy cream For indulgence
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract To elevate the flavors
  • a pinch salt It really brings everything together

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and sugar. Add melted butter (if you have it) until it resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9-inch round springform pan or an 8x8 square dish.
  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Gradually fold the whipped cream into this mixture until everything is smooth and velvety.
  • Pour the chocolate filling over your crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly. Create fun swirls using a spatula if desired.

Chilling

  • Cover the dessert and pop it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set.

Serving

  • Gently release the springform pan and slice into delicious pieces. Optional: drizzle with chocolate sauce or garnish with fresh berries.

Notes

Customize your flavor by adding a layer of peanut butter or using coconut cream for a dairy-free option. Keep a slice for those 'just because' days!
