  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Seasoned with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika
  • 4 slices crispy bacon Cook until crispy
  • 4 slices your favorite bread Use French, whole grain, or bread of choice
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, washed and torn
  • 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Spread generously
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • a dash smoked paprika For extra flavor

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Cooking the Bacon

  • While your chicken is cooking, in the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy.
  • Drain it on paper towels.

Toasting the Bread

  • Toast the bread slices in the skillet until crispy but not scorched.

Building the Sandwich

  • Spread mayonnaise generously on one side of each slice of toast.
  • Layer with crispy bacon, sliced chicken, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomato.
  • Top it off with the other slice of toast, mayonnaise side down.

Serving

  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve it with a side of potato chips or a crisp salad.

Notes

For a quicker option, use a rotisserie chicken. For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
