  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional, for a little kick
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice For brightening flavor

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil (or butter) in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until golden and aromatic.
  • Add frozen green beans, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  • Stir the beans to coat them, then cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and tender.
  • Before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the beans to elevate the flavor.

Notes

Feel free to substitute with fresh green beans, adjust cooking time as needed. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
