Delicious Nashville hot chicken made effortlessly in the Air Fryer without deep-frying, brushed with a spicy homemade hot sauce, and served with pickles and bread.

- In a bowl, combine chicken thighs with buttermilk. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove chicken from marinade, coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place chicken in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In a bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Once chicken is cooked, brush hot sauce over the top.
- Serve the hot chicken on slices of thick bread with pickles on the side.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add more cayenne pepper or serve with extra hot sauce.
